Selection Process

Jerónimo Martins will select the most relevant projects, considering the potential impact in our different businesses.

The selection process will take into consideration the students profile and curricula, the relevance of the topic for the Jerónimo Martins´ businesses, as well as individual characteristics. The candidate must be flexible and adapt the project to the operational constraints of our business reality, preferably responding to one of the challenges identified by Jerónimo Martins. Following the analysis of these elements, the candidate will be interviewed for the final selection.

 

Masters' Projects

1. Applications

Applications must be submitted through the e-mail knowledge.centre@jeronimo-martins.pt during the month of May for projects to be developed on the 1st Semester, and during the month of October for projects to be developed on the 2nd Semester of each Academic Year.

For the Applications to be valid the following documents must also be sent by e-mail:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • University's Registration
  • Project Description (maximum 500 words)
  • Supervisor's Acceptance Letter

2. Selection of Applications

It will be the responsibility of the Jerónimo Martins Group to carry out the process of selecting the candidates by analyzing the proposals received and, if necessary, through an interview. The selection phase will assess the adequacy of the student's profile as well as his work proposal regarding the challenge identified by the respective organizational Area of the Jerónimo Martins Group.

 

PhD. Projects

1. Applications

The PhD. projects may be submitted at any time during the Academic Year through the e-mail knowledge.centre@jeronimo-martins.pt and the following documents should be attached:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • University's Registration
  • Project Description (maximum 500 words)
  • Supervisor's Acceptance Letter

2. Selection of Applications

This selection phase will follow the same terms as required for the Masters' projects with the necessary adaptations.
