In addition to the largest supermarket chain in Poland, the Group holds the pharmacy chain Apteka Na Zdrowie and a network of drugstores under the label Hebe.
Apteka Na Zdrowie
At the end of 2011, the network of
pharmacies Apteka Na Zdrowie had 30 outlets in Poland, located
along the Biedronka stores where the consumer can find drugs and
cosmetics at affordable prices, as well as advice from pharmacy
technicians.
All pharmacies are located next to
shops Biedronka, boasting, however, separate and independent
facilities, according to the Pharmaceutical Law in force in
Poland.
Hebe
In May 2011, the Jerónimo Martins Group embraced a new business
project in the drugstore sector in Poland.
On the basis of this new business concept is the ability to
offer high quality services at very competitive prices. The quality
of service stands on the combination of a pleasant shopping
environment, with the best products of reputed brands and expert
advice in various areas.
Hebe, which opens in extended hours seven days a week, also
provides a space for cosmetics and dermocosmetics.
With the signing Hebe loves babies, the stores also have a
section exclusively dedicated to babies which includes food,
childcare and accessories, with brands of recognized quality as
well as a play area for the little ones.
