Created by a spin-off of the Olive Oil and Vegetable Oil business by Unilever Jerónimo Martins in 2009, Gallo Worldwide produces and markets olive oil and cooking oils.


Value proposition and brand offering

The Company's mission is to introduce GALLO olive oil into the daily food habits of all nations, making consumers aware of the benefits of this "liquid gold" and helping them to understand how it can be part of their everyday life.

In recent years, GALLO olive oil has consolidated its position as leader, progressively innovating its image. These renewals have updated the brand, making it more attractive and closer to consumers, without ever losing its identity and main symbol - the cockerel.

The brand's mentality of innovation and ambition is also reflected in its constant renewal and improvement of the product range, which includes vinegar, olives and olive paste in addition to olive oil.


A commitment to excellence

The end result is the production of olive oils of unique complexity and quality, such as "Gallo Azeite Novo", which in 2010 was awarded the Mario Solinas Prize, as the best olive oil in the world, by the International Olive Council.
